Donna Coulling

Catergories: Celebrity PA, Fashion & Entertainment

Donna trained as an actor at the renowned Italia Conti Academy graduating in 1991. Since that time she has clawed her way into many facets of the entertainment industry before finally settling on a role she is happiest with. Whilst working as an actor after graduating for 5 years she was seen in productions in far-fetched places around the country including the Edinburgh Festival, the Kings Head theatre, Islington and the Royal Theatre, Northampton.

As most of her acting career tended to be spent in various cafes around the west end comparing audition rejection stories with her fellow thespians she took this as a sign to perhaps follow another path and found herself at the door of an artiste's management company where she stayed for 4 years as an assistant.

With this background she now felt she was ready to take the path towards a movie company advertising for a PA, thinking this would ultimately lead to her knocking on Brad Pitt's trailer door with his ‘double soy latte no froth'. Unfortunately, the job involved too much typing and not enough chatting with A list stars (or in fact any stars at all!). With her tail between her legs she went back to theatre-land in the guise of a production secretary for The Graduate, a hugely successful west end production featuring real ‘stars'.

Still she was unfulfilled and thought that maybe an office job was not for her so, ever industrious, she put together a CV and got writing/stalking/whatever it took to get her letter to top London agents offering her services as a freelance PA.

Fortunately, very soon her calls were answered and she bade farewell to the Gielgud theatre and began to make her rounds to the homes of some of the UK's most respected actors including Helena Bonham Carter, Rachel Weisz and Sir Derek Jacobi. 7 years on she finally found her calling....

In between organising frocks, shoes and priceless jewels for premieres and booking private jets to far away places she recently found time to help Lee Ryan find an assistant on ‘I'm with the Band' for Channel 4 and also helped 80's pop star Pete Burns hire a Personal Assistant all documented in a 10 part show for Living TV ‘Pete Burns' PA', shown at the end of last year.
